Many if not most beings grow up into adulthood and somehow along the way, manage to lose their childs-eye, or ability to see shapes in clouds, sense spirits lurking behind trees, feel magic in the rustling of leaves, hear the nearly inperceptible hum of plants & trees in the fields & forests, to pluck ideas from thin-air, feel worlds of possibility there for the inspiration via art or other mediums……those abilities have only sharpened for me as I’ve grown older; they are my playgrounds. So…am I pro-gressing, or re-gressing, or completely bonkers? LOL! I don’t know, and honestly no longer measure myself against others’ judgements. Why would I when so many have lost their ability to truly see and hear anymore? I’m quite certain my abilities and interest in these things probably DO seem odd to others. More’s the loss for those who no longer *see* and *hear* for themselves. I need only look out my window to hear enchanted spirits beckoning, or feel nudges poking all around me!

These inspirations and earthly connections are the fuel that launched my businesses as a handcrafted soapmaker, craftsperson, and artist of magical, mythical, fantastical beings! Which business came first, is hard to say, as I’ve been mixing potions, loving baths, been scribbling and painting, and have had a highly active imagination all my life! I guess you could say that I live for finding and making magic in every day; the taking of seemingly ordinary ingredients or things like olive oil & herbs, yarn, or paper and paint, and transforming them into something altogether different and joyful to others—handmade soaps, yarn-fiber wraps, and fantasy art!
